On July 2007 Andrés was presented with another Diamond DVD from Universal Music. Andrés López sold more than 70,000 DVDs of "Me Pido la Ventana", his second DVD, since its launching on April 2007.

'The ball of letters' is the public that jumps and bounces. It shakes 'zangolotea' and slips away, untouchable, and returns forceful and tactical. It strikes the face, pum! in the pride, zas!, to the upstart. You have it! To the 'papanatas'... You take it and everyone carry it!
The Ball of Letters (recall that is the public) jumps and laughs, laughs and holds the belly so much. Two hilarious hours of ping-pong. Where, on the stage, the ball is thrown and as it bounces off the seats a thunderous laughter can be heard! ('risotada'). Such as a 'take and give' of a flaming boomerang for an awaiting audience to laugh.
If you go to get some tickets to see The Ball of Letters in the National Theater La Castellana, Bogota (40 thousand pesos each), they will tell you that in 2 months the tickets will be sold out. So if you keep in mind that it already has a lot of time on the billboard, you will ask yourself 'Why is there such tremendous success if it is suppose to be the frivolous work, like so many other engenders -box-office shows-, created just to warm-up the 'calentanos''- people from tropical cities living in the cold city.
Therefore, in the concrete case of The Ball of Letters... Oh, surprise!! It is more than a trivial thing! It excels ones intelligence far beyond the 'box-office shows'. This verifies the integral living of an excellent comedian supported in a careful hyphen that never falls on the easy way ('rampln') and neither is located in a common place, although many people suppose it or try maintain it.
Andres Lopez, its creator, is prepared well in advance before hitting to the stage. It is known, by word of mouth, in the city that his work is a constant single laughter created by thousands at once. From the instant the curtain is drawn and the dry smoke rises, the people try with all their energy to hold back the laughter but to no avail... and begin applauding uncontrollably! We, the skeptics, the critics of the lightness, sit quietly in our seat, waiting to see what silly things 'bobadas' the pubic will laugh about.
And soon, why deny it? We are in the same situation! The man uses his intelligence to make a deep criticism, although seemingly elementary and candid, to this society of upstarts and lambs where it is clear that each adolescent is pushed to be felt for less than two strata more than his family because in the giddy advance of the science and the technology, the appearance is imposed over the wisdom. 'sapiencia'
Empty generations that go from A to Z without ever being shamed of their mediocrity, passing unpunished from the cradle to the grave without inaugurating the brain. Without ever celebrating the existence of the spirit. All in all: the children hate the parents, the parents ask themselves if those undesirable monsters are their children! while all is maintained in a sagacious and astute 'perspicaz' libretto. Where the word and the process of the countries typical expressions 'modismos' as a metamorphosis of the language is the first thing. This surprising comedian 'histrion' is a subtle sociologist of the verb and he knows exactly what he does.
And while people need to laugh and the saying 'to the one who does not want broth, three cups will be given' is a forceful and direct criticism that causes laughter but will never blush. Each one to make disappear his shortage, believing they come from a better family. Travel through biting your tongue by a foolish country ('Patria Boba') that becomes more silly itself each day with a dialectic lesson and learn to call 'bread - bread and wine wine'. Not all in the theater has to be classic neither solemn. Also there is time to be felt and to be consented and especially to be verified as a Ball of Letters. Good Good.
