2004: ellee ven collaborates with turntablist DJ SWAMP (Beck, Morcheeba, Kid Rock) and ROLLING STONE: SONGS FROM FUNKY BOHEMIA becomes a dance club favorite worldwide, FMQB and DJ TIMES magazine choose the EP as a HOT CROSSOVER ADD. ellee ven is featured in Rolling Stone Magazine, Music Connection, Campus Circle and the Honolulu Bulletin.
ellee ven has the opportunity to work with award-winning director Eric Zimmerman to release the DVD videography eleven by ellee ven, a combo DVD CD featuring vignettes, music videos and music. Over half a million people visit www.elleeven.com per annum.
2005: Funky Bohemia, introduces fans to a new and improved ellee ven. The album's most popular songs are being seen and heard in retail super stores internationally. (ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH, ADIDAS, TOMMY HILFIGER, SHOP FOR LESS, IKEA, SAKS FIFTH AVENUE, MACY'S, BLOOMINGDALES, and other selected retail stores). ellee ven conceptualizes PROJECT 11, a cd/vinyl series FOR DJS ONLY. DJ TIMES charts her again and ellee ven tours the nation with her band promoting FUNKY BOHEMIA and the first volume of her DJ series, PROJECT 11.
2006: UNSIGNED MUSIC MAGAZINE declares ellee ven a favorite by making her a cover girl, nominating her for ARTIST OF THE YEAR, and for ALBUM OF THE YEAR. ellee ven's video Under My Skin won VIDEO OF THE YEAR.
ellee ven continues work on her next full-length release titled YOUCANBUYME. The Project 11 series has remained on DJ charts internationally for over a year featuring the works of DJs Solange, Swamp, Chris Brophy, Dezrok, DJ Scotty Boy, Trypsin, Wady and Dave Gadbois, ellee ven's music is in stores now and available on www.elleeven.com and cdbaby.com. 2007: The new year begins with ellee ven in the #3 position of WCNI's "Controlled Voltage" Top Ten MySpace Artists and the release of Project 11 Volume 5.
Two songs from FUNKY BOHEMIA were licensed to Canadian pilot MVP.. Also, a remix of UNDERNEATH MY PILLOW was licensed to MAXIMUM WORKOUT, Volume 5 and to DESTINATION LOUNGE: LAS VEGAS.
The 11th month was the charm for ellee ven. ellee ven won a Unanimous Choice Award from the Los Angeles Music Awards for ELECTRO POP ARTIST OF THE YEAR, and South Bay Music Awards awarded ‘YOUCANBUYME' VIDEO OF THE YEAR. Give Into The Groove Volume 1 is just the beginning of a series of compilations by Hot Sauce Records and founder Ellee Ven to be distributed on-line and in select retail stores. The compilation CD series was inspired by Hot Sauce Records' annual charity benefit and will feature original music by the best new and emerging independent artists from around the world. This series will be released quarterly and distributed through multiple Internet channels. The goal of the CD is to bring unprecedented exposure to independent artists.
