Biography
Felina was born in 1988 in San Juan-Puerto Rico. The beauty of her Caribbean background shines through her bronzed color skin, spectacular smile and her enchanting Spanish brown eyes. Young, talented, full of positive and true energy are words that for sure describe Felina At age seven as Felina's family was watching TV one night she stood right in front of them with her arms wide open covering TV screen and said You guys don't need to see TV, you have me . Felina began dancing at age 5 and her first instrument was a flute, now at age 17 she plays piano, oboe and is a percussionist. In 2001 Felina had a real chance to share her talent in a real stage for a Talent competition hosted by Univision. She won first place and experienced her first applause. After winning she expresses to her family that being a performer is definitely what she wanted to do. Her family supported her even after explaining to her the risk and difficulties she could encounter in this type of environment, Felina decided without a doubt singing and dancing is what she was born to do. Felina practices her music and dancing every day like she has a presentation the next day. Her determination took her to an audition in Atlanta , Ga. for a show called Vivelo. She got to perform at the show and got what she has worked for since the age of seven, a recording contract with Mama Reggae Productions. Her album will be ready by 2006. The music she wants to share with the world is a fusion of Reggaeton / R & B and Hip-Hop. Making people happy, promoting hard work, passion and determination for what you love to do is the message she wants to share with everybody!!!
