Platano of Dominican decent yet hails from New York City's Spanish Harlem, but now proudly call Miami home. His creative passion and bilingual ability is the common thread, allowing him to weave Latin Hip-Hop, Reggaeton and tropical flavors into his music, delivering a colorfully unique sound. He continually finds new ways to in to intoxicate his fans musically, as well as through his accomplishments acting in nationally televised commercials.

The highly acclaimed Toyota Scon campaign was successful in no small part due to Platano's acting contribution. Heavy Records, in partnership with Orun Entertainment, is set to unleash his debut album, spring 2007, to the delight of his fans worldwide. He has positioned himself as a highly sought out collaboration partner for projects by Don Dinero and world renowned group Fulanitom and the European based Music Hit Factory.
