PROPHECY- Born in Bronx, NYC, NY, as Moises Rodriguez (PROPHECY), on the 17th day of June 1985, raised in the city of Holyoke since the age of 5. Holyoke has been my hometown where my good and bad childhood memories were based. Inspired by musicians like Dr Dre, Bob Marley, Phil Collins, and Other greats, I began to take a real interest in Music from the age of 11. I used to make little raps here and there and I also used to beat box. I started to make beats and produce when I realized that at the age of 12 I couldn't find anyone that made beats , let alone have any from other producers. So I began making melodies on an old Yamaha piano. As I began to get familiar with melodies, I began to make beats. I then went on to doing performances in Middle School, festivals, big concerts, and by the age of 17 I released an underground album in Holyoke where all the instrumentals were produced by me. I have been producing hip hop, reggaeton, and r&b ever since. I have a different aim in this music industry though. Now at age 21, Im currently producing all types of styles and genres of music, ranging from urban (hip hop, reggaeton, r&b, reggae, roots), tropical (salsa, merengue, bachata), rock, and electronic (Techno, club, drum and bass, euro). In the end, I just love Music and I produce and perform for the love of it. I enjoy experimenting with different styles of world music, getting influences from classical music, just to better my Musical skills. Right now I am currently working on a couple of projects which includes my album in the making. I am striving to be the next best thing in this music industry, as an all around producer,artist, song writer, composer, and arranger . So look out for me, because Im coming out real soon.
