Biography
Felix Ortiz, best known by his stage name ZION, starts his artistic career as a young boy in Carolina, Puerto Rico. He was best recognized for his romantic lyrics and outstanding melodic voice; both in tune to the contagious reggaeton rhythm, garnered him praise as one of the best exponents of this genre. Zion's Birthday was a great success
Zion's Birthday Celebrations Presented By HeinekenTwo parties, Two cities, and a Major Success. \New York, NY — Zion teamed up with Heineken for two memorable birthday bash celebrations held at the hottest clubs in New York City and Miami, which featured live performances by the reggaetonero himself. The kick off event took place Aug 30th at the legendary Miami hot spot, Mansion and one week later the celebration continued in NYC at the exclusive Club Sol. The birthday bash included celebrity friends such as Daddy Yankee, Eddie D, Jason Taylor from the Miami Dolphins, and notable figures such as Pete Manriquez, Tone Capone, Laura Styles, and Dulce from NYC's La Kalle 105.9FM, just to name a few. Both events were a success and top tier media attended the event in honor of the reggaeton superstar including MTVTr3s, Telefutura- Escandalo, Miami Herald, HOY, El Especials, Mira Magazine, VIBE, La Kalle 105.9, among others. Zion is one of the most dynamic and recognizable Reggaeton artists that represents today's Latino generation. His unique melodic vocals separate him from his contemporaries. The Perfect Melody features guest appearances from Akon, De La Ghetto, Eddie D, Cruz “Kumbia King” Martinez and more. Zion’s melodic hits from “Fantasma,” “Zun Da Da” to “The Way She Moves” f/ Akon have become a craze.
